Opportunity to volunteer in hereford, worcester, kidderminster and shrewsbury

Demand for our Domestic Abuse Refuges, Helpline and Support service continues to increase.

We have developed support roles for both of these essential services, and invite applications from those with a commitment to making a difference for those affected by domestic abuse and their families.  this is an opportunity to join our fantastic team of volunteers throughout the region.

Good communication skills, positive mental attitude and a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality - are all key qualities for all who work with WMWA.  Previous experience of supporting people at a point of vulnerability in their lives would be an advantage, but is not essential.  Training will be given to all who are successful in their application to be a volunteer.

If you would like to discuss these roles then please contact Sue Coleman, Chief Executive, in the first instance for an informal discussion on 01432 356146

Application form can be downloaded below

All posts are open to women only - in accordance with The Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.  All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS check & satisfactory references.

WMWA values diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community
