The conference aims to bring together professionals within the field of education from across Worcestershire who work with C&YP, with the objective of sharing and exploring the best local and national resources and projects currently available for C&YP aged between 5 - 18 years.

The following projects & resources will be showcased:

  • THE GREAT PROJECT
  • MY DANGEROUS LOVERBOY
  • EXPECT RESPECT
  • THE CRUSH PROJECT
  • WRASAC Support Services for Children & Young People

C&YP survivors will be sharing their experiences and how they accessed help.

The MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, Jesse Norman, accepted an invitation to meet with WMWA Chief Executive, Jan Frances, following an article in the Hereford Times on 21st February, where he stated: “I met recently with the police superintendent in Hereford and we specifically discussed the under-reporting of domestic violence in the county, and his plans to address it. I also raised this issue at a meeting last month with the new police commissioner. But there remains far more work to be done on these issues, and I would be delighted to meet with West Mercia Women’s Aid to discuss them in detail.” The visit took place on 22nd March at WMWA offices where Jesse Norman arrived on his own at around 2pm.

Jesse Norman MP is visiting WMWA today to meet with our CEO Jan Frances.

Jesse Norman is the MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, a member of the Treasury Select Committee and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Employee Ownership.

The nation’s favourite actress and Loose Women star, Lynda Bellingham, has taken on the role of Patron at West Mercia Women’s Aid.
