West Mercia Women’s Aid has been voted Charity of the Year at one of Worcestershire’s leading law firms.
QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright – which has offices in Worcester, Evesham and Droitwich – announced the decision as part of its commitment to victims of domestic abuse.
In November 2013, the firm launched a specialist domestic abuse unit which includes a drop in centre headed up by Suzanne Oldnall.

A leading organisation in the fight against domestic abuse has announced the launch of its first Survivor Network.
The brainchild of West Mercia Women’s Aid, the Network is made up of a group of women who have all survived domestic abuse.

Worcestershire County Council are keen to complete a needs assessment in order to create a clear picture of the quality and appropriateness of current services to meet the needs of people experiencing domestic abuse and are asking domestic abuse victims & survivors to participate in a survey..
The information you provide will only be used to help the County Council understand how to ensure people are aware of services and to make sure information, advice and support is easily accessible. We also need to plan future services according to needs and emerging trends in patterns of domestic abuse.
